Hi, I’m Lamija. I’m a photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

My story starts with a deep appreciation for nature’s design. On the first of many adventures in nature, I would wander through the forests in Bosnia on my grandfather’s shoulders. Years later on family vacations, I would quietly nab my dad’s camera and spend every evening photographing the sunset. There has always been a common thread weaving its way through my life interlacing nature and creativity.

That connection continues to shape the way I see the world. It has led me to study environmental science and spend several years working in environmental conservation across the public and private sectors. Along the way, I realized that photography was the way I experienced and shared the places that had shaped me. Today, my work is driven by that same curiosity and appreciation for the outdoors, creating images that intertwine light, landscape, and connection.
